Are you a reader? Do you make time to sit down with your feet up, a cup of tea and a good book, getting totally engrossed in some fact or fiction? When I was younger, I loved to read and as time went on and I started this thing called ‘work’ the reading time I had to myself decreased rapidly.
A to-do for 2016 was for me to read more. It’s a continuous way of self development, learning new skills and also contribute to creating that work/life balance that we all, very much need. I love a good bit of fiction, some sci-fi, drama, crime or history but I feel that I need to balance that out a bit more with some inspiring reads for my entrepreneurial journey.
This week on my blog, I want to talk about books for your business and also for that business mindset.
I’ve just purchased ‘Get Rich, Lucky Bitch’ by Denise Duffield-Thomas, a book that’s been recommended to me by a few people so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Who wants to join me in reading it? We could maybe have a bit of a community read-along? Share our thoughts etc.
Have any of you read this book already? What did you think? I would love to hear what you took away from reading it.
I would also love to hear your recommendations for other books you’ve found to be an essential read in your business development.
Trying to fit in time to read may seem difficult, but if you take time to read just 20 pages of a book each day (that’s around half an hour) you can get through that reading pile quicker than you first thought. I’ll be doing this so why not join me?

Until next time…
